Alsace-Lorraine
After losing this land to the Germans in 1871, the loss of this territory hit home to a lot of French people; recovery was integral for Government
Entente Cordiale
Signed in 1904, Recognized British Egypt and French Morocco, fundamentally altered international politics; with British concerns over Russia and Germany and wanting to protect what territories they could, they made a deal with French Delcasse; developed into Moroccan Crisis of 1905
