Failure of LON in 1920s
A
- France took over Ruhr in 1923 and LON could not make France withdraw
- Poland and Lithuania wanted Vilna after WWI and it was given to Lithuania but Poland took over and LON could not make them withdraw

Success of LON in 1920s
A
- Sweden and Finland wanted Aaland islands in 1921. They went to LON to solve dispute and gave it to Finland
- Yugoslavia tried to take over Albania in 1920 but LON made them withdraw

Failure of LON in 1930s
A
- Japan invaded Manchuria in 1931. LON ask Japan to return Manchuria to China but they refused and withdrew from LON. LON could not come to an agreement on economic sanctions as well
- Italy invaded Abyssinia in 1935. LON tried to ban sale of arms, rubber and metal to Italy but they were not harsh enough. 1936, Emperor of Abyssinia went to LON for help but Britain, France did not want their military involved so Abyssinia was invaded by Italy and Italy left LON in 1937
