What was the Blitz?
A mass bombing campaign led by the Germans for 55 consecutive nights. The German air force bombed london and many other cities killing and terrifing civilians.
What was Blitzkrieg?
A power ful war tactic used by the Germans where there were a series of lightning fast suprise attacks. German tanks would crash through enemy lines meanwhile planes would bomb the ground below. Also German soldiers would parachute into enemy territory destroying transportation and communication links.
