To have a love and passion for ones nation.
What made war seem excitable and winnable?
Army having lots of political power.
What is imperialism?
A policy of extending a country’s power and influence through colonization, use of military force, or other means.
What do nations use the threat of armies for?
To resolve disputes with other nations.
What do nations want and how do they achieve this?
They want respect, security and national pride.
They achieve this by building up armies.
What was the dreadnought?
Type of battleship produced in early 20th century.
Which country produced the most dreadnoughts in 1908?
Germany
Why did production of the dreadnought have a dramatic decrease in 1914?
Due to the war effort.
