The actual weather is a thunderstorm and inside the house everyone is cold and fighting and the house is old and the outside reflects the inside

Summarize LW’s two nightmares
- Catherine and Hindley and HC are in church and its raining and Joseph is saying this really long sermon and everyone is bored. It was during a time when Catherine’s father rhad just died and Hindley is still being rude to HC.
- LW wakes up and tries to open the window but the hand of a child, Catherine Linton, grabs him and says “I’ve been trying to open that door for 20 years”. LW takes a stick and breaks the window and screams. HC comes in and yells out to Catherine and is angry at LW.
