To identify the main idea of a text quickly. It is done at a speed 3-4 times faster than a regular reading.
Skimming
It is an approach to language learning including foreign learning by means of a large amount of reading.
Extensive Reading
It is a type of reading that is done to understand a text in depth.
Intensive Reading
Importance of Reading Approach:
It is an active skill which involves inference, guessing, predicting, etc.
