Adams
John Adams, Jr. was an American lawyer, author, statesman, and diplomat. He served as the second President of the United States, the first Vice President, and as a Founding Father was a leader of American independence from Great Britain.
Abraham Lincoln
He was the 16th President of the United States. Lincoln led the United States through its Civil War.
George Washington
He was the first President of the United States. George was the Presiding Officer of the Constitutional Convention.
American Indians
A member of any of the indigenous peoples of North, Central, and South America, especially those of North America.
Capital
The most important city or town of a country or region, usually its seat of government and administrative center.
Citizen
A legally recognized subject or national of a state or commonwealth, either native or naturalized.
Civil War
The war fought in the United States between northern (Union) and southern (Confederate) states from 1861 to 1865, in which the Confederacy sought to establish itself as a separate nation. The Civil War is also known as the War for Southern Independence and as the War between the States.
Congress
A formal meeting or series of meetings for discussion between delegates, especially those from a political party or labor union or from within a particular discipline.
Freedom of Speech
Thhe right to express any opinions without censorship or restraint.
