Flexes distal IP 2-5, assist with flex PIP and MCP

III/IV Ulnar C8-T1

Capitate, base of 2/3 metacarpals, palmer surface of 3rd metacarpal

Ulnar side base proximal phalanx of the thumb, extensor expansion
What is the action of the Adductor Pollicis?
Adducts the CMC, assists with flexion
What is the innervation of the Adductor Pollicis?
Ulnar C8-T1
What is the origin of the Abductor Pollicis Brevis?
Flex Retinaculum, tubercle of trapezium, tubercle of scaphoid
What is the insertion of the Abductor Pollicis Brevis?
Base of Proximal Phalanx of thumb (radial side), extensor expansion

Abducts 1st CMC, extends IP
