Why was Archduke Franz Ferdinand targeted for assassination?
The Archduke was targeted cause Princip wanted the Bosnian Serbs to revolt and join Serbia again. He was targeted cause he was giving the Bosnian Serbs hope and made them want to stay in the Austrian-Hungarian empire.
