A

The government determines how much product you are allowed to buy. Purpose of it is prevent hoarding, and also to send supplies to the war front. Women and children are the ones upholding the rationing rules.

Atomic Bomb

A

August 1945 United States drops first ever nuclear bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Killed 100-200,000 people, most civilians. Dropping the bomb helps lead to surrender. Will lead to Cold War tension.

Late 1930s Mass killing and raping of Chinese citizens by Japan. Japanese fighting is brutal. Japan is also doing imperialistic. Another example to motivate the Allies.

Japanese Internment Camps

A

In the United States. After Pearl Harbor, fear of Japanese spies, Japanese Americans are put into camps till end of the war. Property and money is taken. Huge problem because its unconstitutional.

Bataan Death March

A

66 mile forced march of Filipino and American soldiers by the Japanese to a prison camp. 1,000s die along journey and in the camp itself. Another example of Japanese brutality that will motivate the Allies.
