Aboriginal people were not allowed to enlist into the military force

When the aboriginal people returned from the war they were not offered land for their services not even recognised for there hard work

Before world war 2 women did not do much in terms of work
Men were the main provider for the family
During WW2 women started to take up more heavy labour type of jobs because of the men’s absence. Started there own army called women’s land army. Women were also nurses during WW2

To enlist you had to be in the ages of 18-60 and healthy
The army wanted loyal, strong and fit people

They were peacemakers they often protested against violence
