A republic which was formed in january 1919 by the social democrats. The reason for its formation they were worried about upraisings bcs of the severe labour and food shortages.

they were expecting a fair peace treaty based of wilsons 14 points.

What caused the hyper inflation in germany in the 1920’s
waimar republic has economic problems and is unable to pay reprations so they printed more money then they had so it resulted in inflation.
