What is the legislative branch?
The legislative branch is called congress. Congress makes laws.
What is the Executive branch?
The executive branch consists of the president enforcing laws.
What is the Judicial branch?
The judicial branch consists of the supreme court interpreting laws.
What are the differences between Democrats and Republicans?
- Republican voters disapprove of liberal causes (abortion rights and gay marriage) whereas Democrats tend to take a more liberal stand
- Republicans believe government should not play big role in people’s lives, Democrats believe government should play a bigger role in people’s lives
How often does America elect a new president?
Every 4 years
What is an example of military influence in the USA?
-The US has the biggest military spending
-Sends Ukraine weapons to stop Russian aggression

-Foreign aid (spends $50B each year on foreign aid)
