A Confucian is a person who believes in the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius.
Difference between a civilization, empire, and a republic.
A civilization is a group of people who did things the same way, an empire is a country that ruled over lots of different groups of people.
What was the fertile crescent.
The Fertile Crescent is important because it prompted the development of the first civilizations due to its agricultural capabilities.
What rivers created the world’s first great civilizations?
The first civilizations formed on the banks of rivers. The most notable examples are the Ancient Egyptians, who were based on the Nile, the Mesopotamians in the Fertile Crescent on the Tigris/Euphrates rivers, the Ancient Chinese on the Yellow River, and the Ancient India on the Indus.
Describe the difference castes in Hinduism.
The caste system divides Hindus into four main categories - Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and the Shudras. Many believe that the groups originated from Brahma, the Hindu God of creation.
