It is a thing which wants to make you move away from where you currently are.
What is a pull factor?
It is a thing which makes you want to move to someplace.
Why has Rio De Janeiro grown so quickly as a country?
It has 3 airports, 5 ports, and is home to all of the big companies in Brazil.

Electricity, clean water, well built houses, no risk of starvation, better healthcare, abundancy of jobs and better education.

What are some reasons that there are megacities?
Rapid urbanisation to one city, natural increase.
What is natural increase?
Natural increase is when the birth rate is higher than the death rate.
What is a LIC?
A low-income country.
What is a HIC?
A high-income country.
Is there more megacities in HIC’s or LIC’s?
There are more in LIC’s, because many people want better jobs and more income, so they move to cities, leading to more rapid urbanisation in LIC’s than HIC’s. In fact, research shows that in HIC’s, more people are leaving urban area’s to rural area’s, to escape the busy lifestyle.
What is the opposite of rapid-urbanisation?
Rapid counter-urbanisation.
What does temperate mean?
Mild climate, where the weather is not to hot or cold and has some rainfall.
What percentage of Singapore and Shanghai is urbanised?
