A

Tell you how the contractor is getting on on the project and you can use it to compare against programme to see if they are on programme.

What is a clerk of works?

A

Someone who could be there on a day-to-day basis. They are employed by the client to check on the quality of the work and to confirm it will end to the clients standards and specification.

What could progress reports include?

A

Prepared by the CA for the client to detail progress. They could include summary of the progress, analysis of progress against programme, any delays and a cause of delays, progress photos, weather reports, H&M issues, design issues, payments etc.
