- Being in an association
rC79, can’t do anything being in association that you’d otherwise be prohibited from doing. Should tell the BSB if you start practising in an association.
- Material commercial interest in organisation to which you plan to refer a client (or which is proposing to refer a matter to you)
– rC81, must tell the client in writing about your interest in that organisation before you refer the client and keep a record of your referrals for review by the BSB on request

Legal advice centres
-rS41, may supply legal services on a voluntary or part time basis. Will be treated like an employee. Cannot receive fees or have a financial interest other than a salary.
- Non-BSB authorised organisations –
If you refer client to them you should ensure they understand they are not regulated. You should not have your own material interest in an organisation which gives the impression of being regulated.
Immigration advice
rC85A, must not act as a supervisor of an immigration advisor if they have been disqualified, etc.
