Front Panel Header
A
A group of pins on a motherboard that connects to wires that are connected to the front panel of the computer case.

A group of wires running from the front or top of the computer case to the motherboard.

Standoffs
A
Round plastic or metal pegs that separate the motherboard from the case, so that components on the back of the motherboard do not touch the case. Also called spacer.

ZIF connectors
A
A ZIF ( Zero Insertion Force) connector uses a lever or latch to prevent force from being used on a sensitive connection.
