what are the workflow steps with agencies
o Add games to each agency’s tracker
o Add player images to the image folder in Box
o Link images and any callouts in a Slack kick-off
o Create agency review deck (usually on a monthly basis)
o Review artwork and give feedback (ideally in one round)
o Review agency delivery in Box to make sure all files are there
After agency files are approved, what happens in SMOT
- Once artwork is finalized, link in SMOT column titled “Required Imagery (Box Link)”
and turn the cell green - If it’s a last minute add, alert Ryan Cooper, Jennifer Belknap, and DLEO in the slack
channel #max-us-live-sports-ops - The goal is to have artwork linked 3 weeks before an event’s live date
How often do you QC on platform and what are you looking for
- Once a week or so, check the platform to ensure all artwork is appearing as
expected - Be sure to review the highlights row to confirm the shield has not been stretched
What happens in a 24h+ last minute change
- If 24+ business hours notice:
o When players are injured or pulled from a game for any reason, the
merchandising team (Stephen Favetti or Tosin Oyewole) may reach out with a
request to swap imagery. They will provide the new player name at the same
time.
o Once you have the player name, search for their image in Getty and upload to
the correct Box folder
o Send an urgent slack to the appropriate agency and link them to the new
image of the player.
What happens in a last minute change with less than 24hrs
- If less than 24 hours notice:
o link the logo vs logo art into SMOT - Once the artwork is finalized, link it in SMOT, and alert Ryan/Jennifer/DLEO in the
slack channel #max-us-live-sports-ops
