Work Immersion
To develop in learners the competencies, work ethics, and values relevant pursuing further education and/or joining the world of work.
Rationale of Work Immersion
What are the opportunities for studying work immersion?
- to become familiar with the workplace
- for employment simulation
- apply their competencies in areas of specializations or applied subjects in authentic work environments.
Develop among learners life and career skills, and will prepare them to make decisions on post-secondary education or employment.
Objectives of Work Immersion
What do the objectives aim to make the learners?
- appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories taught in schools.
- enhance their technical knowledge and skills
- to enrich their skills in communications and human relations.
- develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation and respect for work.
Public or private institutions or organizations that are able and willing to lend their expertise and resources; without monetary requirements.
Partner Institutions
A legally binding document, which spells out the specific terms and conditions between and among parties entering into a partnership to implement a program, project, or any other similar undertaking.
- it can be entered at the central, regional, division, or school level
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
Relationship between the partner institution and the school, or any office of DepEd (Central Regional or Division)
