What is an adjective
a word or phrase naming an attribute, added to or grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it.
EX: red, quick, happy, and obnoxious are adjectives because they can describe things—a red hat, the quick rabbit, a happy duck, an obnoxious person. Adjectives take many forms. Some common adjectives are formed when we add a suffix to a noun or verb.

What is a preposition

EX: Simple prepositions are words like at, for, in, off, on, over, and under. These common prepositions can be used to describe a location, time or place. Some examples of common prepositions used in sentences are: He sat on the chair. There is some milk in the fridge.
