What are lines of Longitude?
Lines that join north and south poles. Run long ways on the globe

The Greenwich meridian. Which runs through Greenwich England

Line divided up to show the distances on the map and on the ground
What is a word scale?
Tells us in words how much 1cm on a map represents on the ground.
