Word Flashcards
Psalm 119:105
Your WORD is a lamp to my feet,
and a light to my path.
Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers:
But his DELIGHT is in the law of the Lord,
and on it he MEDITATES day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
that yields its fruit in season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
Matthew 4:4
“It is written,
‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God’.”
Psalm 19:7-11
The law of the Lord is perfect, REVIVING the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure, making WISE the simple;
the precepts of the Lord are right, REJOICING the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is PURE, ENLIGHTENING the eyes;
the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
the just ordinances of the Lord are TRUE; and righteous altogether.
*More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honey comb
Moreover, by them is your servant WARNED;
in keeping them there is great REWARD.
John 14:15
If you love me, you will keep my commands.
1 John 2:14

and by the Word of their testimony.

For the WORD of God is alive and active,
sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow,
and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Psalm 86:11
Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will WALK in your TRUTH;
give me an UNDIVIDED heart, that I may FEAR your name.
