MDF is a type of hard board, which is made from wood fibres glued under heat and pressure.
Uses of MDF
Used to make models, cabinets that have a veneer over, storage units

Made with lots of wood chips bonded together with resin and made into sheets through compression
Uses of chipboard
Uses in lower end furniture, under and veneer finish
Properties of plywood
Very strong and is made from veneer piles with grain each at right angles to prevent cracking
Uses of plywood
Used in building and exterior work as it is strong
