What are the red flags for breast symptoms?
A
- All breast/axillary lumps need referral (with or without pain)
- All breast skin changes need referral

Nipple symptoms:
- Discharge retraction
- Weight loss (higher suspicion if Age >=50 y/o.
- Referral to genetics for familial breast cancer (see next slide)

What are the referral criteria for genetic screening in women for familial breast cancer?
A
- One 1st degree if < 40 years.
- Two 1st degree of any age.
- Male relative (any age)
- One 1st degree relative <50 if bilateral disease.
- One 1st degree and One 2nd degree relative of any age (one may be ovarian cancer)
- Three 2nd degree relatives (any age)
