Describe how Pandora was created, how she came to Earth and her role in bringing evils to the world?
Pandora was created to punish mankind for receiving a stolen gift of fire. Zeus asked Hephaestus to shape a woman out of earth and water. This his plan was to punish mankind by giving them something that they welcome but that will lead to their destruction. Zeus sent her down to earth and gave her to Epimetheus the titan as a bride. With the warning to not take any gifts from Zeus he still accepted her as his wife as he was so attracted to Pandora. Pandora brought a jar to earth containing all evils including old-age suffering and death. She releases evils due to her curiosity disobedient and lack of self control. 
Describe the story of Helen’s marriage to Menelaus, how she met prince Paris of Troy and the two versions of her role in the Trojan War?
Helen of Sparta was the daughter of Zeus she was also renowned to be the most beautiful woman in the world. Tyndareus Made all suitors swear an oath that they would go to war against anyone who threatened the marriage. Helen chose to marry Menelaus. One day a Trojan prince name Paris visited Sparta in disrupted Menelaus and Helen stable marriage. Paris was one of the favourite mortals of Aphrodite and she had promised to give him the most beautiful woman in the world. He secretly took Helen with him back to Troy by being unfaithful to Menelaus she brought ultimate shame upon herself. It’s sad that Helen was overcome by the irresistible power of Aphrodite. Once Menelaus realise that Helen had left with Paris he set about the business of getting her back. Due to the Oath he assembled the greatest fourth of Greek soldiers and set out to try to retrieve his wife. This war became the Trojan war.  it is sad that Helen regrets her choice but avoids taking any blame instead saying it’s the thought of the gods
Describe how Romulus and his followers abducted the Sabine Women and how the Sabines attempted to retrieve their women?
The founder of Rome and first king was a man called Romulus. Inviting refugees from all over Italy to resettle in Rome who is the shortage of women and the first generation of Romans was at risk of becoming the last. He invited his neighbouring kingdoms to arrange marriages between his citizens and mayors but this idea was not welcomed by the outside neighbours. Romulus however sent invitations to neighbouring towns to attend a festival, A large number of Sabine to 10 did the celebration of Romulus gave signal for the Roman mentor seizing Harry office Maddie Sabine women they could. Particular beautiful maidens would have been for the patrician Roman men. Sabine women were outraged that Romulus blamed the arrogance of the girls parents for refusing to consent to intermarriage. Why calming them down with loving words the Sabine women were content. However the Sabine King Tatius it was so angry, entering the city in secret to launch a surprise attack but Ryan was protected by city wars and blocked the Sabine warriors. A young girl called Tarpeia the general of Spurius Tarpeius,  was out collecting water and King Tatius managed to bribe her to give him access to the city. They then killed her even though they agreed to exchange their heavy gold bracelets and jewelled rings and shields in order for entry. She gives into her and greed and it’s just a flea punished for doing so or it can be seen that she tried to take that she was away making them weaker in the upcoming fight. The women made their way to the centre of the fighting and pleaded with their husbands and their fathers to end the fighting. Appeal worked in an end was put to the fighting.
Describe the story of Tarquin’s rape of Lucretia and her suicide? 
A patrician woman named Lucrecia married to Collatinus, A distant relative of the current king Tarquinius Priscus. Lucretia was said to be a perfect example of a female virtue. Libby says one night leading Roman men including her husband and the king son are enjoying a drink in part in discussing their wives each man claims of their wife is the most virtuous woman alive to settle this debate, Collatinus her husband suggested that the men make a surprise visit to each woman. While the white of the Prince has been found selfishly enjoying himself Lucrecia was working at her loom long until the night it was a sign of obedience and hard work.
Sextus Taquinius Superbus, the kings son, Was so impressed by Lucretius beauty and virtue that he resolve to sleep with her. Days later superbus returned to Lucretius house and shown to a guest bedroom. He was burning with passion and waited till everyone was asleep he drew his sword and went to sleeping Lucretia.
He said ‘keep silent Lucrecia I am Sextus Tarquinius and my sword is in my hand if you say a single word you will die.’ beginning to declare his love a mixed prize with threats he announced that when she was dead he would slaughter his servant and lay him naked beside her so that it could be said that she was put to death on account of adultery with a lowly slave. Lucrecia refused to have sex with him she would prefer to die this demonstrated her Pudicitia (Sexual modesty through women’s chastity) she cared more about her reputation then to be shamed. She then sent messages to her father and her husband to come immediately. The men swore an oath by the blood of Lucrecia herself that they would seek revenge they took her body to a forum and announce what had happened raising an army against the king immediately gathered his family and escaped into exile.
Explain what the story of Pandora suggests about Greek views regarding women?
The Greeks or women as objects and distractions based their attractiveness off of looks and modesty.
Explain why Helen was so desirable to Greek men?
How long was said to be the most beautiful woman in the world therefore every man wanted her so that they could boast about claiming her.
Explain how Homer and Euripides’ versions of the story of Helen differ, and the impact these differences has on how Helen would have been viewed?
Homer says Helen was overcome by the irresistible power of Aphrodite unease interpretations make Helen a victim rather than a villain.
Euripides says the whole world believes she is guilty of adultery but she refuses to actually commit the crime
Explain why Romulus needed to abduct the Sabine women and how women are easily persuaded.
Romulus needed to abduct the Sabine women as they would not cooperate into marriage and the ratio of men to women in Rome was very high, This meant that the generation would not be able to continue. Big shows by men appealing for vanity is most effective in winning over woman’s heart suggesting that women are rude by feelings of pride and I will easily beast waved not by logic and reasoning but by flattering.
Explain why Lucretia was so desirable to Roman men?
Lucrecia was seen As a pure a modest woman who put her reputation before her needs. Choose virtuous and Pudicitia , these traits is what the Roman men desired
