Bars discrimination on handicap and familial status
Handicap, includes any mental or physical impairment including
Cancer, aids, alcoholism, speech, hearing,or sight impairment
Familial status includes the presence of any children under the age of 18, you are pregnant, you have an adopted child under 18 or you’re in the process of adopting a child
Exemptions from familial status protection:
> All housing occupied or intended to be occupied by residents 62 years or older
> in housing designed for order persons with at least 80% of all units occupied has at least one person 55 or older
