Imperative sentence
An imperative sentence expresses a commamnd and ends with a period or an exclamation mark.
Pronoun
A pronoun replaces a noun in order to avoid repetition.
Personal Pronoun
A personal pronoun represents a specific person, animal, or thing, or group of them and isdistinguished by case, number, perosn, and gender.
Reflexive Pronoun
A reflexive pronoun is a personal pronoun compounded with -self or -selves to show that the action affects the subject.
Demonstrative Pronoun
A demonstrative pronoun indicates an entity and distinguishes it from others.
Interrogative Pronoun
An interrogative pronoun represents something that is unknown and is used in a question.
Antecedent
An antecedent is the noun that a pronoun has replaced.
Indefinite pronoun
A indefinite pronoun refers to a non-specific person, place, thing, activity, or idea
Relative Pronoun
A relative pronoun is found at or near the beginning of an adjectival subordinate clause and relates it to teh word it modifies
Possessive Pronoun
A possessive pronoun is used to show ownership.
Nominative
a nominative (also called subjective) pronoun may be used as a subject or predicate nominative.
Objective Pronoun
An objective pronoun may be used as a direct object, object of the preposition, indirect object, or object complement noun
Phrase
A phrase is a group of words that does not contain both the subject and a verb and may be used as a single part of speech.
