Culture Shock
the feeling a person experiences when placed in a different culture. May result in psychological discomfort, or disturbance.

sense of identification with a collective cultural group. Largely based on the group’s common heritage.
Race
typically based on specific characteristics. Skin pigmentation, body stature, facial features, hair texture.
Ethnocentrism
belief that one’s ideas, beliefs and practice are better than theirs.
Chemical name
identify drug’s atomic and molecular structure.
Generic name
Assigned by the company that makes the medicine.
Therapeutic range
concentration of drug in the blood or serum that is produced to achieve desired effect
Standing order
carried out until canceled by another order, routine order.

After retrieval from the drawer compared with the eMAR/MAR, before poruring.
Before giving the unit medication to the patient, or when placing the container in the drawer or shelf.
