Q

Creation

Acts 14

A

In past generations he allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways. Yet he did not leave himself without witness, for he did good by giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.

Q

Creation

Romans 1

A

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Q

Looking at creation, we see design which infers a Designer. John MacArthur said this: “I mean when somebody tells me it (creation) just happened, that makes no more sense than saying take your watch apart, put all the pieces in your pocket and see how long you have to shake your pants before you hear a tick. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Design speaks of a designer.”

A

Did you know that some birds navigate by the stars when they migrate? Even if those particular birds are raised inside a building where they have never seen the sky, they can still orient themselves toward home when shown an artificial sky representing a place their species has never been.

Q

Conscience

Romans 2

A

For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.

Q

Eternity in the Heart of Man

Hellen Keller Example

A

Helen Keller was blind, deaf, and mute. Helen’s teacher, Ann Sullivan, helped teach her to communicate and was finally able to share the gospel. When Helen understood what was being said, she responded: “I already knew about him. I just didn’t know his name.” A blind, deaf, mute person felt her way to God.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

Matthew 16

A

“But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

Purpose of God

1 Timothy 2

A

God our Savior desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

Q

Conclusion

Part 2/3

A

John MacArthur: “There has to be a designer for all this design. And so you know God is, and if you know God is you know God is powerful, and you know God is divine. And that’s why the end of verse 20 says, “Men are without excuse.” Everybody living on the face of this earth has experienced God, His wisdom, His power, His generosity in every moment of their existence though they have not recognized Him He’s been there, He has bounded their lives, He’s been sustaining them, He’s been enriching them, He’s been giving Himself to them, and in their senses they have perceived Him. So that they are without excuse. Yes general revelation is the foundation of all condemnation. General revelation is the foundation of all condemnation. Men have the opportunity, because God is evident everywhere.

Q

Conclusion

Part 3/3

A

“If God judges He judges justly with equity because man is without excuse. Much more so are you without excuse who know the Gospel and the name of God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. “How shall you escape, if you neglect so great a salvation.” For the wrath of God is revealed against all who hold the truth and suppress it in unrighteousness. The Bible says that the way to God is through Christ, and He offers you that opportunity”
