What is the intent of within her eyes?
To portray an abstract tragic love story that is open for interpretation. Mine is that the woman has previously come out of a toxic relationship and is now finding peace with this new man
What is the staging of within her eyes?
Filmed outside in nature. The camera starts far away from the dancers giving the feeling that they are completely isolated. The camera gradually moves in closer to the dancers but still keeps its distance until the first time that the dancers look at each other, the camera then zooms in on their faces. The majority of the dance is filmed with the camera on a track, giving it a very smooth quality.
What is the aural setting of within her eyes?
The music combines electronic elements with strings and piano, creating a haunting and emotive accompaniment
What is the lighting of within her eyes?
Natural light. Bright and dark
What are the costumes of within her eyes?
The costumes are everyday clothes. The female dancer wears a beige shirt and skirt, the male dancer wears a khaki jumper and jeans. The darkness of his costume contrasted with the lightness of hers adds to the illusion of her just floating on him. But could also reveal each dancers purity
