This is where humanity leaves the poem, first the voices fade as the boys skate away thus removing the only source of life in the poem this shows how everything i disappearing ad decaying

Light which is typically a metaphor for something positive and full of light has been replaced by a monstrous fog which is sucking the light and life away

That Sees nothing and that nothing sees

A

This suggests the loneliness of death nobody can see the suffering nobody can see the fear. There is a sense of nothingness of death as seen in the repetithion of that word. Morgan makes on grand flames of an after life or other world.
