one of the authorized regions. The
label must show the term
Qualitätswein mit Prädikat (QmP)
and the name of the authorized area.

Eiswein

A

made from grapes that are left on vines to
freeze. Produces sweet wine with concentrated
fragrance. This style can be combined with another,
for eg. Spatlese eiswein.

Trockenbeerenauslese

A

Trocken means dry, wine
made from dry grapes, such as raisins. Very sweet and
concentrated wine. Sweeter than Beerenauslese.
