The domaine Pierre Gerbais began four generations ago when Ulysse Gerbais formed the domaine between the time of the world wars! This cuvee delivers notes of spring blossom, crunchy pear and toast as well and incredible acidity. Those fruit and floral notes compliment the sugar snap peas perfectly.

La Rogerie ‘Le Bouc’ Alsace, France 2021
Grape: Pinot Blanc

Spiel: This is La Rogerie by Francois Petit and Justine Boxler, a couple with roots in both Champagne and Alsace. What makes this winemaking couple unique is that Justine didn’t leave Alsace for Champagne and Francois didn’t leave Champagne for Alsace…they decided that they would rather conquer both. This Pinot Blanc is coming from their holdings in Alsace. Incredibly fresh, well balanced and textured which serves as the best supporting actor to all the Summery components in the pasta.
