Defintion
A
A rapid change in wind direction or velocity resulting in an airspeed change of more than 10 kts.

Severe Windshear
A
- Airspeed changed greater than 15 knots
- Vertical speed changed greater than 500 fpm
- Pitch attitude changes greater than 5 degrees
Signs to tecognize
• 1 dot GS displacement
• Unusual thrust lever position for a significant period
