msinfo32.exe
This is a utility used to display information about the use of hardware (CPU, memory, disk, and network) and software (file handles and modules) resources in real-time. It helps check the performance counters of specific resources and decide a course of action to improve performance.
Resmon.exe (resource monitor)
This utility is used to collect information about devices to help troubleshoot problems with DirectX sound and video. it test DirectX functionality and troubleshoot video-related or sound-related hardware problems. It can save text files with scan results.
dxdiag.exe (DirectX Diagnostic)
This utility is used to view and control the hardware attached to a computer. It will highlight a piece of hardware that is not working so that a technician can repair or replace.
devmgmt.msc (device manager)
This command is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for and restore corrupted Windows system files from the command line. System files (and shared program files) are maintained and version-controlled in the WINSxS system folder. Since the File Explorer is part of the Windows 10 operating system files, it would be repaired or replaced by running this utility/tool.
The system file checker (SFC)
This tool allows you to view and make changes to system files and programs that you wouldn’t be able to access otherwise. This is a database made up of hives and keys that control various settings on a Windows system. Incorrectly editing with this tool can permanently damage your computer, so it is important to be very careful when modifying this database.
