- # 1 Eyes herb (Tx red, itchy, burning eyes)
- Can ascend or descend
- Drain or tonify, (particularly effective for dispersing wind-heat)
- Cooling/tonifying the Liv and brightening the eyes
- Resolves toxicity.
- Good for headache
Man Jing Zi

- # 2 for eyes
- Major eye herb - headache w/ pain in eyes
- Particularly for wind-heat in the face and eyes
- Take formula to the eyes
- Useful for stiff/painful joints in wind-damp painful obstruction
- Ju Hua is more broad spectrum Tx
