What is a deductive argument?
An argument that flows from general to particular, and tries to be valid in a logical way
What is an inductive argument?
One which flows from the particular to the general, and involves probability in the conclusion
What is a fallacy?
A false or mistaken idea, or a plausible argument using false or invalid inference
What is the relationship between arguments and reasons?
Arguments are explicit ways to formulate reasons
