Mary Morstan- young governess. Kind and brave and asks Holmes for help and Watson is attracted to her
Major sholto- retired army officer.Greedy prepared to cheat others to gain wealth
Captain Morstan-Mary’s Father. Served army with major sholto and went missing 10 years ago
Thaddeus Sholto- wealthy, eccentric man who wants to help Mary. Son of major sholto
Bartholomew sholto- Thaddeus twin bro. Selfish doesn’t think he should help Mary find her father
John small- ruthless,cunning ex-convict. He used to be a soldier in India. Has a wooden leg
Tonga- small accomplice. He’s a extremely loyal to small
