Who Am I Class (Min Nathainel ) Flashcards
Consider the days of old ask around and they will show u
Deuteronomy 32:7
“Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.”
Things were written for our learning
Romans 15:4-5
“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”
“Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:”
As a nation we must get ourselves together
Zephaniah 2:1
“Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;”
Discontinued from our heritage
Jeremiah 17:4
“And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.”
precept to Jeremiah 17:4
Sirach 17:10
“Beside this he gave them knowledge, and the law of life for an heritage.”
For folks thinking the Law is done away with
Romans 8:2-4
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”
“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:”
“That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
What is death? and What is the Gift from God ?
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Nothings impossible to the Lord
Isaiah 59:1
Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:”
As a nation of people we must make supplication towards the Lord
Daniel 9:3-6
“And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:”
“And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;”
“We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgment
“Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.”
***As a nation of people we need to make supplication to our Lord, admitting of sins our faults and truly repenting .
The Lord looking not at just one person
Isaiah 4:1
“Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.”
**This is also showing that the lord is not looking at individual but at our nation as a whole. Not only we are wicked within ourselves we pass it on to our children .
Guilty not correcting folks
Leviticus 5:1
“And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.”
***U can be guilty of not correcting folks and knowing the knowledge of the lord that also means u not showing love.
This is an example of Blinded by sin causeing u to be sick in the mind spiritally and physically , the word is the only ointment to heal
Isaiah 1:5-6
“Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.”
“From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.”
Example of our people not listening to us out on the street back then and now
Daniel 9:6
Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.”
Moses speaking to whom?
Deut 1:1
“These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.”
If we listen to the Most High this would happen
Deut 28:1-2
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”
“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.”
