Impairment
Perceived or actual feature in the persons body or functioning that may results in limitation or restricted participation of the person in society with a consequential difference of physiological and/or psychological experience of life.
Disability
Imposed by society when a person with a physical, psychosocial, intellectual, neurological and/or sensory impairment is denied access to full participation in all aspects of life, and when society fails to uphold the rights and specific needs of the individual.
Person with disability
Those who have a perceived or actual physical, psychosocial, intellectual, neurological and or sensory impairments as a result of various attitudinal, communication, physical and information barriers.

Social model of disability
Disability is a social construct and assesses the social economic environment and impact barriers have on full participation, inclusion and acceptance of a person with disability as part of mainstream society.
Focuses on abilities of person rather than differences, sees person as as equal citizen with full political, social, economic and human rights.
Reasonable accommodation
Necessary and appropriate modification and adjustments as well as assistive device and technology.
Ensures that person with disability enjoy, on an equal babysit with others all human rights and fundamental freedoms.
