Length of phrases and how you sequence them?
How are the reader going to follow that sentence. A short sentence is more straight to the point and long sentences can provide more information.
For narrative writing, what voice is more preferred?
Active voice. Instead of X is demonstrated by Y, X demonstrates Y. In active voice, you emphasize the actor X. The verb’s tense differs from past to present.
Strong verbs?
A verb that gives more information about a situation than an ordinary verb.
Unity of paragraph structure?
Things that go together go together. You try to maintain the same topic throughout the paragraph.
Sequence?
Put things in the right order, going from general to particular.
Coherence?
Includes the use of pronouns and demonstrative adjectives.
Pronoun?
Something that points to the noun before it
Demonstrative adjectives?
Refers back to similarity
Past/active tense is more about the?
Position of the verb.
Typically in active voice, the article is positioned where?
Beginning as the article does some action while the action being conducted by an article.
Summary definition?
A short objective overview of the main ideas of a larger work. It includes only the broader points or purpose of a work rather than the details or smaller plot points.
Summary elements in order of importance?
-theme/idea/plot
-main character (protagonist)
-setting
-buttress the main idea: example of salient (significant/important) conflicts/main arguments
-corruption of literature/journalism/theatre

Support
