Q

Why do some people argue that everything is built up of knowledge by acquaintance?

A

We need to have senses and know about colors, sights, tastes etc in order to know anything at all. If we had no acquaintance with senses we couldn’t learn anything.

Q

What did Plato say about why true beliefs aren’t knowledge?

A

They need a tether, otherwise they are unreliable. You can judge correctly what the way is to somewhere, but it may just be luck and this isn’t knowing
