What is qualitative data?
- non numerical data
- referred to as categorical data or attribute data (gender, religion or occupation)

Categorised data which is not ranked eg. Gender

Consists of numbers, counts or measurement eg. Salaries

A finite number of possible values eg. Number of eggs laid by a chicken

Infinite possible values eg. Monthly salary

Quantitative data taken at a point in time eg. Average a level points for schools in 2024
