Q

was the TOV fair

A

reasons no
- faced loads of problems because of it like its government was unstable and there was a lot of political violence because people were mad at the WR for signing it
- the payments were too much for germany leading to Hyperinflation
- it stunted germany’s economic growth
- germany wasn’t the only aggressive country in the war and didn’t deserve the full blame

reasons yes
- germany had been very aggressive even before the war and had invaded France almost twice in 50 years so it needed to be controlled to prevent further conflict
- Germany had inflicted a much harsher treaty of Russia
