Q

What are the disadvantages of case studies?

A
  • Case studies are subjective as a lot of them are based on observations. This will affect results through observer bias.
  • Sample is not representative so it is not generalisable.
  • It is not reliable as it is unusual for it to be replicated as there is low chance the event or phenomenon will occur again.
