A building run by nuns or monks.
Charlemagne
Ruled during 768 CE, he made Spain, France, Italy, Germany under his rule.
Holy Roman Empire
It was made in the 800 CE. Ruled by Charlemagne
Manorialism
A system between lords and peasants. Peasants would work for their lords and in return would get land.
Feudalism
A system between lords and vassals. Vassals would fight for their lords and in return would get land.
The Battle of Hastings/William The Conqueror
William and Norman was fighting over the throne. William was crowned king after winning the battle of hastings in 1066 CE.

the office or authority of the Pope

A country ran by kings or queens.
Magna Carta
A document that limits the king’s power. Made because king Henry was abusing his power.
The Crusades
1099 CE. A battle between the Christians and Muslims. Mostly fight about holy land.
Pope Urban II
Caused the first Crusades during his time as the head of the church.
Saladin
Helped fight the Cristians during the crusades.
The Black Death (Bubonic Plague)
Caused millions of deaths in Europe and Asia. Also caused the fall of feudalism.
Richard I
Helped make a treaty for the Crusades.
The Hundred Years War
Battles between the English and France.
Joan of Arc
Helped the Franch win the war against the English. Later she was executed for heresy.
Henry V
He helped restore England to its culture.
Queen Isabella
Made England Christian again with the help of Ferdinand.
Reconquista
Isabella and Ferdinand taking back England.
King Ferdinand
Fought with Isabella during the Reconquista.
Inquisition
The retaking of England. And killing of anyone who wasn’t Christian.
Iberian Peninsula
Made of up of Spain and Portugal.
