What was the Spartacist revolt?

A

Communists Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg wanted a revolution like there was in Russia in1917. They seized power in Berlin and the baltic ports. Within weeks the revolts were crushed by the Freikorps and the leaders shot.

The Nazis got lots of publicity, Hitler wrote his book Mein Kampf while in prison, the nazis decided to take power by legal means, they adopted the original 25point plan, Hitler put 32 leading nazis in each zone
