How was Germany affected Socially?
A
- The Allied naval blockade stopped any supplies coming in which caused people to starve and this remained in place until the Treaty of Versailles.
- 600,000 women left as widows
- 763,000 people died from starvation
- The gap between rich and poor caused there to be a social division
