activated charcoal
(Adult Dosage)
25 - 100 g PO/NG
atropine sulfate
(Adult Dosage - symptomatic bradycardia)
Symptomatic bradycardia:
0.5 - 1 mg
(1 mg per AHA) IV/IO every 3 - 5 minutes
Maximum dose: 3 mg
atropine sulfate
(Adult Dosage - ACH Poisoning)
ACH Poisoning:
extremely large doses
dextrose
(Adult Dosage)
25 g of D10 or D50 IV.
Repeat PRN
diphenhydramine hydrochloride
(Adult Dosage: allergic reaction, anaphylaxis)
Allergic reaction, Anaphylaxis:
1 mg/kg IV/IM/PO.
Maximum dose: 50 mg
diphenhydramine hydrochloride
(Adult Dosage: nausea/vomiting)
Nausea/vomiting:
12.5 - 25 mg IV/IM/PO
diphenhydramine hydrochloride
(Adult Dosage: dystonic reaction/extrapyramidal symptoms)
Dystonic reaction/extrapyramidal symptoms:
25 - 50 mg IV/IM
epinephrine
(Adult Dosage: Cardiac Arrest)
Cardiac Arrest:
1 mg 1:10,000 IV/IO every 3 - 5 minutes.
If administered via ETT:
2 - 2.5 mg diluted in 10 mL NS
glucagon
(Adult Dosage: Hypoglycemia)
Hypoglycemia:
1 mg IM/IN.
Repeat PRN until symptom resolution
glucagon
(Adult Dosage: Calcium channel blocker, beta blocker OD)
Calcium channel blocker, beta blocker OD:
5 mg slow IV push.
Repeat in 5 - 10 minutes.
Total maximum dose: 10 mg
